Anna Solano

Anna Marie Solano, 54, of Hobbs, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at St. Helena Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Monday, November 4th at Griffin Funeral Home.

Anna was born on August 15, 1959 in Clovis, New Mexico to Antonio and Veneranda Garcia. She received a Bachelors Degree from College of the Southwest and worked at the employment office for over 15 years. Anna enjoyed baseball and was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. She loved being with her family and her dogs. Anna was a devoted member of St. Helena Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Solano and Andrea Solano brother, Joe Encinias sisters, Luci Ulibarri, Priscilla Hernandez and Connie Bargas and her God son, Daniel Ulibarri.
