Austin passed away far too soon, leaving behind a family and a circle of friends who loved him deeply.

Austin will always be remembered for his love of riding bikes, going fast, and spending time with the people he loved most. He knew no stranger and had a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. No matter what kind of day you were having, Austin could always find a way to make you smile. He would show you his best dance moves just to brighten your day.

Austin was the best uncle to his nieces and nephews. He spent many days making memories with them, having fun, teaching them new things, and sharing in the simple moments that meant so much. The love he had for his family was undeniable, and the memories he created with them will be cherished forever.

Austin was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Tammy Scarber, who passed away in October 2025. He was her "little man," and their bond was deeply special. Austin loved his mother dearly and missed her deeply. The love they shared remained a part of him.

Austin is survived by his father, Butch DeYarmon; his sisters. Savanha Anderson and her husband, Chad, and Jessyka Shatney; his brother. Devin Scarber; his nieces, Jaydence, Payton, Kaylie, Kaimbrey, Jessie-Rae, and Emmelynn; his nephews. Kayvin, Jordan, and Kamden; his girlfriend, Amanda Soto; and two of his best friends, Anthony and Cornbread, who held a special place in his life. Austin also leaves behind many lifelong friends and chosen family who loved him deeply and who will forever carry his memory with them.

There will be a visitation at 2pm on Friday, August 28, 2026 with a Celebration of Austin's life beginning at 3pm in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home.
