Beatrice Trevino

Beatrice C. Trevino, 86, of Hobbs, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 in Hobbs. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Ruben Romero as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Beatrice was born on June 23, 1929 in Runge, Texas to Saturino and Ercilia Carrion. She married Leonard P. Trevino in 1945 and they celebrated over 70 years of wonderful marriage. Beatrice enjoyed making baby quilts, decorative pillows and embroidery. Her love was raising her family. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Esther Trevino; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard P. Trevino; daughters, Mary Bundy (Scott), Jessie Olvera (Henry), Alice Trevino, Margie Dean (Hollis) and Chasity Trevino; sons, Leonard C. Trevino (Vicki), Henry Trevino, Tommy Trevino (Kay) and Robert Trevino (Tanya); 21 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
