Billy Eugene Baker Jr

Billy Eugene Baker Jr. Was born May 14, 1960, in Hobbs NM, to the late Billy E. Baker Sr and Ludesta Baker. He was taken during the midst of loved ones on April 23, 2026. Billy fell in love and married Donna Brooks Baker on August 14, 1978. From this marriage they raised three children, Angelica, Dominique, and Thurman Baker. Billy was a devoted husband, father, Grandfather, and great grandfather and awesome brother, He worked with his father in the family business for many years before going to work for Hess as supervisor of maintenance where he retired. He loved cooking (BBQing), music, yardwork, carpentry, and being with family. He is survived by his wife Donna Baker of the home, Two daughters Dominique Baker and Angelica Brooks of Norman Ok, One son Thurman Baker (Simone) of Leesburg Florida. Ten Grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Four sisters Joanna Hanson, (Dallas Tx) Peggy Cox (Lubbock Tx) Brenda Lawson (Hobbs), and Levern Tate (Hobbs). Two brothers, Jiles R. Brown (Hobbs) and Anthony L. Baker (Diana) Oklahoma City. One Uncle Curtis Baker (Liz), two aunts, Nellie Armitige and Hazel Robinson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Baker Sr and Ludesta Baker one siter Lillian Marie Ellis.

Billy will be remembered for his assertiveness, dependability, and unwavering love for his family.
