Bobby Castleman

Bobby Ray Castleman left us to be with the love of his life Diana Woodruff Castleman on October 15, 2015. He was 70 years of age. Bobby was born September 15, 1945 to Ola D. Hensley and Dave Castleman in Menard, TX. He was raised by his Father Louis Simmons.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2015 in the Griffin Funeral Home Chapel of Hobbs, NM. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Griffin Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home of Hobbs.
Bobby moved to Hobbs in 1962 and he married Diana Woodruff on October 6, 1964 in Hobbs, NM. She preceded him in death December 1, 2010. Bobby worked in the oil field most of his life as a pulling unit operator for over 30 years with D.A.&S, Clarke, and Reeco Constructors as a truck driver and mechanic. Bobby also enjoyed Fishing, Hunting and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his children: Bradley and wife Belinda, Christine and husband Manuel, Shelly and husband Juan. 10 Grandchildren several great grandchildren: Shawn Meadors and wife Alicia and great grandson Elijah. Mindy Meadors and her daughters Zoey, Isabell and Skylar. Bobby and Samuel Castleman, Chelsea and Manuel Barron JR. Brooke, Hali and G Flores. He also considered Vikki Lord to be one of his granddaughters along with her children Brittany, Ely and Dyson as his grandkids. Also surviving are his 3 brothers Eddy and David Castleman and Perry Simmons. 1 sister: Betty Evans.1 brother in law Joe woodruff and wife Lisa and 3 sister in laws Della Henry, Barbara Woodruff, and Inez King. Numerous Nieces and Nephews and his best friends Mary and Rodney Chanley.

Thank you for the memories of camping, fishing and those crazy get togethers at Grandma Woodruff's house.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Diana, 1 daughter; Elizabeth Meadors and several brothers and sisters and other family members.
