Carol Hinds

Carol L. Hinds, 78, of Hobbs, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Kirby, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 1:00 PM 7:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hinds was born on February 8, 1935 in Enid, OK to A.C. and Wanna Stanley. She married Vincent Hinds and they were married for over 25 wonderful years until his death in 1992. Mrs. Hinds owned and operated Lea County Beauty College until she retired in 1980. She loved to crochet and collect hummingbirds but her true love was being with her family. Mrs. Hinds was preceded in death by her parents husband and a brother.

Survivors include her sons, Ricky Dyer and his wife, Janey and Bill King and his wife, Judy sister, Jerlene Perry brother, Mike Stanley numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and stepchildren, Linda Graham, Frank Hinds and Lex Hinds.
