Carolyn Marie Jones

Carolyn Marie Jones was brought into this world December 25, 1949, to Joe Jones Sr. and Katherine Jones as in Hobbs, New Mexico. Carolyn went home March 5, 2024, in Hobbs, New Mexico surrounded by family.

Carolyn worked at B&G Transportation for 27 years driving children to school every day and often drove for the Hobbs Eagle Band and Sports Teams. She was a lifelong member of the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ under Pastor Ernest Hodge Sr. Caroyn belonged to civic organizations such as the Eagles Lodge, Elks Club, and PTA.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Katherine Jones, Joe Jones Jr., and Jalin Robert Jones.

She is survived by sons James LaKeith Jones (Rosalind), Jason Jones, and Jeremy Wayne Jones, sister Jaquelyn Lewis, brothers James E. Jones (Vanessa), and Robert Jones, grandchildren Alana, Aja, Jason Jr., Tiaralynn, Kavyian, special daughter Annette Jones, special sister Brenda Franklin, extended family Clem Ann Johnson, Donald Clay, Juanita Rockmore, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
