Cesáreo Moncayo Astorga 88, has gone home to meet his Maker on October 18, 2023 at Covenant Health Hospital in Hobbs, New Mexico. Cesáreo Moncayo Astorga was in life a very giving man, loved God, his wife, and his family, he was always worried about the people in need, he devoted his life to spreading the word of God. Cesáreo never judged nor did he care about speaking ill of anyone. He would go fix your car no matter the time of day or weather and never asked for payment. He was a person that never waited on a thank you just him being able to help out was enough. Our father will be missed greatly not only for his words of encouragement and his wisdom but sheer presence. Cesáreo loved his grandchildren, nephews, niece’s and kids and the love for his best friend partner and love of his life his wife Maria Felipe Astorga with whom together raised a family of 12 together till death do them part.  Cesáreo worked in Hobbs for over 50 years most of them in the sandblasting and coating industry, He is well known in the business, every person that knew him, (The Old Man) was his handle. He was well respected and revered in the oilfield. The family of Cesáreo Moncayo Astorga wishes to thank everyone on their condolences and well wishes as he always replied to God Bless you and your family.
