Christopher Hernandez

Christopher Hernandez, 39, of Hobbs entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, March 23, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday March 28, 2018 at St. Helena Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Pacquing as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM-7:30 PM on the 27th with rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Christopher was born on June 13, 1978 in Hobbs, NM to Alberto and Francisca Hernandez. He is survived by his daughters Maya and Cali Hernandez of Hobbs; son Christian Hernandez of Texas; mother Francisca Hernandez of Hobbs; sisters Diana and Delia Hernandez, Adrian Fields, Sasha Bejar all of Hobbs and Melissa Valdez of Texas; brothers Reynaldo Hernandez of Midland, TX, Albert Hernandez (Cecelia) of San Angelo TX, Adam Valdez of Austin, TX and Joey Bejar of Las Cruces and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Christianna Hernandez; father Alberto Hernandez; brothers Roberto and Larry Hernandez; sisters Isabel Hernandez, Marie Bejar and Anna Valdez; maternal grandparents Frank and Isabel Alaniz and paternal grandparents Florentino and Guadalupe Hernandez.
