Clinton Dallas Holladay of Hobbs, New Mexico, entered the gates of Heaven on July 17, 2021, at the age of 37. He was born in Hobbs to Randy and Misty Holladay on July 29, 1983. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Christian Center Church at 1:00 pm, with the burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Clint was a graduate of Lovington High School, where he played baseball, played the trumpet in the band, and participated in 4-H. After graduation, he attended Tulsa Welding School and Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc, where he earned welding and electrical certificates, respectively.
Above all things, Clint loved his family, especially his boys and his relationship with the Lord. The oldest of two boys, he grew up with his brother Clay “Rubber Duck”. The brothers were best friends in a way only brothers can be. Clint had a reputation for being very handy and had a great work ethic. He used those skills to help others. He was a loving and compassionate person who would go out of his way to help whoever he could. Clint was not only a friend to those around him but took on the role of a big brother and he never met a stranger. He always wanted to look his best, smell good and took great pride in his appearance.
Clint loved fishing, woodworking, the Dallas Cowboys, the Atlanta Braves, country music and had a charming personality with a beautiful smile. He always had a $2 bill in his pocket to give his nieces. He had a special place in his heart for kids and the elderly. Clint was a bit of a prankster, had a good heart, and will be missed by so many people whose lives he had touched.
Clint’s memory will live on in his two sons, Brian and Joshua Holladay of Denver, CO, his longtime love Kayla Hinrichs of Hobbs, NM, his parents Randy and Misty Holladay of Hobbs, NM, his brother, and sister-in-law Clay and Jessica Holladay of Hobbs, NM, nieces Katelyn and Madilyn Holladay of Hobbs, NM, an incredibly special aunt Kelly Holladay of Hobbs, NM, grandparents Robbie and Bob Eason of Bridgeport, TX, grandmother Faye Holladay of Bailey, CO, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Clint is proceeded in death by grandparents Bud and Sophia Barnwell, and grandpa Bill Holladay.
