Debbie Gray

Debbie Kay Gray beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed from this earth March 14, 2018 at her home in Hobbs, New Mexico. Debbie was born on a beautiful summer day June 29, 1955 in Seminole, Texas to Don and Dorothy Eggleston. She married Joe H. Gray, the love of her life February 17, 1973 and they recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.

Debbie's love in life was her family. She raised and cared for her three children who went on to give her five grandchildren whom she adored. She was always the caregiver of the family and spent her life putting everyone's needs before her own. She was the family's guardian angel.
Debbie loved reading and instilled this in her children's and grandchildren's lives. She enjoyed bird watching and wildlife and had an immense love for her puppy dogs who were always by her side. If she wasn't reading or enjoying nature you could always find her watching Live PD or North Woods Law.
Debbie is survived by her husband Joe H. Gray; daughter Lisa Smith and husband Shawn; son Christopher Gray and wife Laura; brother Doyle Eggleston and wife Kelly; her aunt Joyce Elaine Brown; grandchildren Kaylie Smith, Austin Smith, Cristian Gray, Logan Gray and Arron Gray; nephew Matthew Eggleston and wife Abby and their five children and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins whom she cared for deeply. She was preceded in death by her father Don Eggleston, mother Dorothy Eggleston and son Wesley Gray.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
