Efrain Gonzalez

Efrain Gonzalez, 35 of Hobbs New Mexico, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his home, surrounded by family. We were so blessed to have Efrain in our life. He brought so much love, kindness, and happiness to all he would meet, his love was pure, and you never had to question how he felt about you. There was no hiding his feelings, he lived a happy and full life. He did what he wanted and never took NO for an answer Efrain loved to travel, and as soon as he was ready for vacation, he would say airplane that meant pack your bags. He was such a prankster one thing he did was tap you on one shoulder and hide on the other side. He had a nickname for every family member even totally changing your name (right Sha Sha). Efrain loved going to church with mom and dad, and after church going to their restaurant of choice where he would order his favorite drink Dr Pepper. He loved wrestling, never missed a match. John Cena was his guy the day he got to see him wrestling live was a sight to see his eyes shined so bright. He was one happy kid let’s not forget, family gatherings were his favorite with all the food, laughs and games, he loved playing Santa every Christmas Eve and taking pictures with family.  His family was very important to him. He leaves us with a broken heart, but we know one day we will meet again and for now our comfort is that he is not in pain and in Gods arms. Efrain is survived by his parents, Efren and Socorro Gonzalez, three sisters, Sandra (Jose) Antillon, Anabel (Adie) Robledo, Brenda Gonzalez, one brother, Efren Gonzalez Jr., his nieces, Judith (Jonathon) Viviana (Cristian), Samantha (Josh), Aileen (Anthony), Alexis, Vanessa, all of Hobbs, Leslie and Jasmine of Juarez Mexico, his nephews, Adrian and Anthony Robledo of Hobbs and Efren Antonio from Juarez Mexico, numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Efren Abrahm, and Julio Cesar, maternal grandparents, Pedro and Beatriz Mendoza, his paternal grandparents, Antonio and Guadalupe Gonzalez. We know he was met at the gates of heaven with open arms by his brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that preceded him.  Pinos, we will miss you tremendously, but we have such beautiful memories that we will treasure forever. You brought us so much joy and love and will forever be grateful God for lending us such a beautiful person, we love you forever our Pinpin.
