Elvira P. Barron

Elvira P. Barron, age 73, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Elvira was born on December 19, 1952, in El Paso, Texas, where she met the love of her life Juan Hector Barron Sr. and had 3 sons; Hector, James, Jesse and later made her home in Hobbs, New Mexico where she had her daughter; Aileen. She was the cornerstone of her family and a source of endless love, strength, and guidance to all who knew her.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Elvira was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and lived her life with deep faith and compassion. She found great joy in sewing and watching Price is Right and wrestling. She especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Elvira is survived by her loving husband, Juan Hector Barron Sr.; her sons, Hector Barron (Guadalupe) and James Barron (Martha); Jesse Barron (Ilene) her daughter, Aileen (Juan) Robledo; and her 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Salvador (Esther) Perez, Ernie (Isabel) Alva, Ray (Sylvia) Alva; and her sisters, Martha Romero, Cindy (Ernie) Chacon, and Hermila (Manny) Gallarzo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Concepcion Alva, Julia Valverde, Lalo Reyes

Elvira’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
