Georgia Ann Duffy

Georgia Ann Duffy, 67 years of age, passed away early Sunday morning on December 17, 2023, at UMC in Lubbock Texas, succumbing to cirrhosis of the liver.

Her Memorial service will be held 11:00 am on January 20, 2024, at New Beginnings Church. Pastor David Villar will be officiating. Arrangements have been handled by Griffin Funeral Home in Hobbs. 

Georgia worked in dietary at Nor Lea Hospital for five years. She enjoyed serving others. She took pride in her salad bar. She enjoyed delivering food to patients and doctors. Georgia especially loved to sing. Her prized possessions were her grandchildren and her dog, Shorty. 

Her ultimate dream was to own a Harley. 

Georgia is survived by her children Danielle Montez of McDonald, New Mexico. Aaron Duffy of Waverley, Tennessee. Tanya Villegas of Lovington, New Mexico. Her dog Shorty of McDonald, New Mexico.
