Georgia Kuhn

Georgia Kuhn, 96, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Hobbs. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Brunson Cemetery in Eunice, NM with the Reverend Mary Taken, officiating. Mrs. Kuhn will be in state 9:00 AM 7:00 PM, Tuesday at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kuhn was born on June 17, 1917 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to John and Martelia Roach. She married Albert Kuhn on May4, 1937 and they celebrated over 47wonderful years together until his death on January 4, 1985. Georgia was a cook in the Eunice Schools cafeteria for 40 years. She enjoyed playing cards and loved to cook for her family get togethers. Mrs. Kuhn was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and great grandson, Anthony Pratt.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Kuhn and wife, Marie of Albuquerque, NM grandchildren, Nikki Hearn and husband, Ken of Lubbock, TX and Kristie Brock of Sparta, MI great granddaughter, Brooklyn Pratt and countless nieces and nephews.
