Herbert Widman

Herbert Widman, 79, of Hobbs, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Monday, October 17, 2016 at Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 PM Sunday, October 16th at Griffin Funeral Home.

Herbert was born on December 30, 1936 in Rochester, NY to Herbert and Frances Widman. He married Patricia Ingalls on July 7, 1955 in Bristol, NY and they celebrated over 61 wonderful years together. He retired as a truck driver from Nolan Brunson. Herbert was a wonderful husband, brother, father and grandfather; he loved his family very much.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Widman of the home; children, Wanda Purser, Gordon Widman, Edward Widman, Wayne Widman, Vanessa Widman, Douglas Widman, Karen Widman, John Widman and Cathy Beaner; 23 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren.
