Issac Perez

Issac "Zayah" Isaiah Perez, 15 of Hobbs, passed away July 11, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday, July 17, 2015 at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Shropshire, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park with Rev. Ricardo Bauza, as celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM, Thursday, July 16 at Griffin Funeral Home.

Issac was born on August 8, 1999 in Odessa, TX to Carlos and Melissa Perez. He attended Greeley Central High School in Greeley, CO. Issac loved to play football and basketball and work on his Cadillac. He was fun loving, energetic and his smile was contagious. Zayah was preceded in death by three grandparents, one great grandfather and cousin, Isaac R. Trest.

Survivors include his mother, Melissa Mendibles of Greeley, CO; father, Carlos Perez of Hobbs; brothers, Dominic D. Perez and wife, Shaylee Montoya Perez and Carlos Paco Perez, Jr. all of Greeley, CO; sister, Mariah M. Perez also of Greeley, CO; grandparents, Raul and Juanita Perez of Hobbs, Nellie Lopez of Greeley, CO and Richard Castro of Scottsbluff, NE; uncles, Rolando and Elias Perez of Hobbs, Jerry Zapata, Adrian Lopez and Issac Yanez of Odesssa, TX; aunts, Gloria Perez Lisa Grimaldo Villa of Hobbs, Mary Yanez and Cynthia Zapata of Greeley, CO; nieces, Daisy A. Perez and Amarie Lara and numerous cousins.
