Jackie Cooper

Jackie Cooper, 56, of Hobbs, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 20, 2014 at Crosswinds Community Church with Pastor Brad Reimers, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:005:00 PM, Sunday the 19th at Griffin Funeral Home.

Jackie was born on April 12, 1957 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Jack and Deloris Cooper. He married Faye Ramsey on June 26, 1981 in Hobbs and they celebrated 32 wonderful years of marriage. They owned and operated Exxon gas stations. Jackie enjoyed going fishing in Louisiana every year. He loved anything to do with cars working on them, collecting old cars and especially drag racing. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Cooper, of the home daughter, Angela C. Cooper of Hobbs and brother, Darrell Cooper.
