Jim Fann

Jim Fann, 79, of Hobbs, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Monument Baptist Church in Monument, NM with Pastor Matt Price, officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday the 1st from 1:00 PM-8:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Jim was born on April 1, 1937 in Lubbock, Texas to Marvin and Esther Fann. He married Inez Dickerson on August 4, 1962 in Monument and they celebrated over 54 wonderful years of marriage. Jim retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company after working 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Fann and brother, John Fann. Survivors include his wife, Inez of the home; grandchildren, Toni Fann Fisher and husband, Coy, Devon Fann and wife, Justine, Jenna Fann and Brittani Fann; great grandchildren, Kristin Fisher, Karalynn Fisher, David Fisher and Jaxon Fann and numerous nieces and nephews.
