Joe Wright

Joe Glen Wright, 85, of Hobbs, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 in Denver City, Texas. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Jefferson Street Church of Christ with Minister Clay Martin officiating.

Joe was born on June 16, 1931 in Arkinda, Arkansas to James and Lillian Wright. He married Jerry Irons on August 25, 1952 and they celebrated over 64 wonderful years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Jerry Wright; sons, James Quincy Wright (Margrett), Tracy Glen Wright (Patrilla), Simon Williams, Quincy Northrip, Richard Gideon and Mike Crockett; daughters, Kelly Jo Wright Davis (Mike), Darlyne Anders Lee, Red Gideon and Amanda Duncan; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He is also survived by the many children he and Jerry raised and influenced throughout his life. A special thank you to Robert Molsbee, who has become a special member of the family.
