Johnie Sanders Hill

Johnie, age 63, of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, August 15th , 2021, in Las Cruses, New Mexico.  She was born on September 27th , 1957, to Virgil and Hattie Mae Sanders.

Johnie was a loving church going woman who loved being around and helping others. She was never afraid to go out of her way to lend those who needed a helping hand. Most of all she was a strong and caring mother who loved her sons more than anything.

Johnie preceded in death by Ruth Walker, Virgil Sanders, & Billy Roy Sanders.

She is survived by her husband, Truman Hill; sons, Jerone Fields, and Jerrielle Smith; brother, Plas Sanders; and sisters, Gayle Taylor, Darlene Sanders, Verdie Mae Hall, and Ladora Sanders.

Viewing will be held at on Friday, August 27th, 2021, at 10 am at Griffin Funeral Home, with a graveside service at 1pm.
