Joyce Brown

Joyce Brown, 61, of Hobbs, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Ragland, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Ms. Brown was born on October 2, 1952 in Hobbs, NM to Alton and Dorothy Brown. She worked as a bookkeeper for Reeco Well Services for over 33 years and retired in 2011. Joyce enjoyed reading, gardening and attending movies and plays. She loved collecting knick knacks. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Doug Brown.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara Brown of Hobbs brothers, Alan Brown and wife, Lauri of Hobbs, Robert Brown of Tucson, AZ and Michael Brown of Hobbs sisterinlaw, Yohana Brown of San Angelo, TX aunts, Edith Zimmerman, Wanda Hudson and Melba Hale and husband, Dan, all of San Angelo, TX and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.
