Juana Lopez

Juana Lopez, 77, of Hobbs passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 surrounded by her family. Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, March 23, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Pedro Lopez, celebrant. A rosary will be recited at 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Griffin Funeral Home.

Juana was born on March 28, 1937 to Antonio and Francisca Quezada in Durango, Mexico. She married Miguel Lopez in Juarez, Mexico and they celebrated over 51 wonderful years of marriage. Juana enjoyed sewing and growing flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Miguel Lopez; daughter, Maria Velazquez and her husband, Ruben; son, Manuel Lopez and his wife, Angela; brothers, Miguel Quezada and Luis Quezada; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
