Kathryn Ann Kelly, age 74, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 14, 1951, Kathryn lived a life marked by devotion to her family, and a warm, creative spirit. In 1975, she met the love of her life in New Mexico, where their story began. Together, they built a family that became Kathryn’s pride and joy.
Throughout her life, Kathryn worked in various roles—from food service to several years in a metal industrial warehouse—before retiring from her role in quality control at a food production factory. Her dedication spanned over 25 years of hard work and perseverance.
Kathryn’s greatest joy came from being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She never missed a chance to show off photos of her beloved family, lighting up with pride every time she spoke of them. Her legacy lives on in the many baby blankets she crocheted by hand—gifts of love that will be cherished for generations.
A lifelong Notre Dame Fighting Irish superfan, Kathryn rarely missed a game and cheered with unmatched passion. She also found joy in crafting and painting ceramics, expressing her creativity in everything she did.
Kathryn will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her deep love for her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her presence will be missed, but the love she shared will never fade.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents John and Dorothy Meyers, brothers David Meyers and Michael Meyers, and sisters Peggy Smith, Jeanne Meyers, and Ann Meyers.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kevin Kelly, children Erin (Mikey) Smith, Michael Kelly, and Kristin (Brandon) Ward; her grandchildren Aidan and Teren Smith, Keatyn, Jacoby and Barrett Ward; and her great-grandchildren Kyreigh, Scarlett and Sir Carney; sister Patricia Mead and brothers Mark Meyers and Steve (Joyce) Meyers and several nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered with love, always.
