Kenneth Vine

Kenneth Vine, 48, of Hobbs, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00- PM, Wednesday the 4th at Griffin Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born on February 1, 1968 in Hobbs, NM to Lois and John Vine, Sr. He grew up in Hobbs and was always helping others. Kenneth was excellent at repairing small engines; he could repair anything. Kenneth also worked as a landscaper and an auto mechanic. He enjoyed yardwork. Kenneth was always a happy and cheerful person, but most remembered for being very giving. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Vine, Jr.

Survivors include his parents, Lois and John Vine, Sr. of Hobbs; son, Doug Wayne of Albuquerque, NM; 3 grandchildren; sister, Lisa Jurado of Hobbs; brothers, Porter Vine of Mesa, AZ, Elgin Vine of Hobbs, Brandon Vine of Santa Rosa, NM and Ruben Vine of Mesa, AZ; girlfriend, Tammy Depp of Hobbs and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
