Laura Fitzgerald

Laura E. Fitzgerald, 94, of Hobbs passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 in Lovington. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 28, 2014 in Prairie Haven Cemetery with Pastor Steve Lord, officiating.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on December 13, 1919 in Harleton, TX to Samuel and Etta Breazeale. She married Ed Fitzgerald and celebrated over 45 years of wonderful marriage until his death in 1978. Laura enjoyed watching dirt track racing and going to the casinos. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Laura was also preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Betty Burris and Shirley Russell sister, Dorothy Scott and grandsoninlaw, Chad Fox.

Survivors include her soninlaw, Odie Russell grandchildren, Rick Russell and wife, Connie, Sandra Fox, Jeff Burris and Brian Burris and wife, Denise great grandchildren, Amanda Allison and husband, Daniel, Billy Fox and wife, Heather, Robert Russell and wife, Tiffany, Gary Fox, Ashley Burris, Zack Burris and Chris Burris and her greatgreat grandchildren, Amber Fox, Allison Fox, Layne Muller, DJ Allison, Jake Allison, McKenzie Allison and Skylar Meadows.
