Letitia Rene Faulkenberry Miner, 46, lost her battle with cancer on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Hobbs. Her celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at New Life Fellowship with Pastor Benny Greenlee, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Monday the 2nd from 6:008:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Rene was born on July 14, 1967 in La Jolla, California to Jim and Mary Faulkenberry. She graduated from Hobbs High School and attended South Plains College. Rene married Justin Miner on November 30, 2005 in Seminole, TX and they were together for over 8 years. She loved being outdoors, skiing and traveling. Rene loved life and was a friend to all she never met a stranger. Spending time with her friends and family was very special to her. Rene was preceded in death by her grandparents and her aunt, Tena Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, Justin Miner, of the home parents, Mary Chanley and husband, Rodney of Hobbs and Jim Faulkenberry and wife, Debbie of Barstow, CA sister, Jaimie Urtiaga and husband, Lawrence of Barstow, CA brothers, Lawrence Faulkenberry of Austin, TX and Richard Faulkenberry of Hobbs, NM motherinlaw, Becky Miner sisterinlaw, Monica Miner fatherinlaw, Mark Miner and numerous nieces and nephews.
