Lois Mclemore

Lois McLemore, 75, of Hobbs, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 in Hobbs. A memorial service will be held at 9:00 AM, Sunday, October 2, 2016 with Lowell Otis Hughes, officiating.

Lois was born on September 12, 1941 in Seminole, Texas to John and Ruby Oliver. She married John McLemore in Brownfield, Texas in 1959 and they celebrated over 57 years of wonderful marriage. Lois was a cosmetologist for over 20 years and was also an instructor for the Vogue Beauty School. She was a member of the Oddfellow and Rebekah's Lodge and also served as a past state president for the Rebekahs. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and son, Daniel McLemore.

Survivors include her husband, John McLemore of the home; daughter, Juanita Carda and husband, Shaun of Castle Rock, CO; 1 sister; 3 brothers and grandchildren, Andrew Carda and wife, Katherine of Castle Rock, CO and Jacob Carda of Castle Rock, CO.
