Madean Davis

Madean Davis of Hobbs, passed away in Lubbock, TX, Sunday, September, 28, 2014 at the home of her brother and sisterinlaw, surrounded by her family. She was under the care of Hospice of Lubbock. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Highland Baptist Church with Brother Guy Coup officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Cemetery.

Madean was born on January 22, 1933 to the late J.N. Zelma Brown Brumley. She loved to make crafts from plastic canvas and gave them to her many friends and family and she enjoyed working Circle the Word puzzles. Madean was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Davis in 1991 her parents 2 brothers, Levoy and Jodean son, Mickey and grandson, Jason Sealy. Survivors include her son, Ronald Davis, of Hobbs daughters, Judy Jim Sealy of Highlands Ranch, CO and Sandy Gravley of Pflugerville, TX brothers, Royce Jaminette Brumley of Lubbock, TX and L.G. Glenda Brumley of Llano, TX 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
