Margaret White

Margaret Laveca White, age 74 passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Magnolia, AR. She was a resident of Hobbs for over 40 yrs. She was the oldest of five children born April 21, 1938 in Chillicothe, TX to Elmore and Dona Jolley Ritchie.
From an early age music was always a part of her life. She passed the love of music on down to her children and grandchildren. She loved to entertain with her familys country gospel group in the 70s and 80s. Family was always important to her. She also was a mother figure to her nieces and nephews in addition to her own children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Venita Pace.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 yrs. Davis White of Magnolia, AR two sons, Lonnie White and wife, Pam of Magnolia, AR Michael White of Magnolia, AR one daughter, Karen Wilson and husband Mike of Hobbs, NM one brother, H.F. Ritchie and wife, June of Big Lake, TX two sisters, Patsy Rarden of Wheeler, TX Jeanie Bright and husband, Ronnie of Hobbs, NM six grandchildren, Nicki Stultz and husband, Brad, Neil White, Ryan Miller, Brette Miller, Cole Wilson and Colin Wilson three great grandchildren, Bailey Stultz, Morgan White and Brooke Stultz numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and host of friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, March 11, 2013 at Griffin Funeral Home in Hobbs with Reverend Elio Barrios, officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 am until service time.
