Marina Ramirez sadly left our world on June 15, 2024, at the age of 45 after a courageous brief battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Marina was born on April 17, 1979, to Antonio and Lorenza Ramirez in Altus, Ok. Marina was a registered nurse for 17 years and she made an instant impact on everyone who met her and on thousands who never will!
She loved to travel visiting Rome, Barcelona, Jamaica, Puerto Vallarta, New York to name a few places, but what she loved more than traveling was her family. She enjoyed doing everything with her family, especially with her mother who was her companion and partner in crime. Her nephews and niece were her world and there was nothing she would not do for them from taking them to see artists out of town they wanted to see to taking them on their annual Schlitterbahn trips each summer. She loved her siblings with all her heart, and it was felt. No one messed with her family because she defended them with nails and teeth. Only she could mess with them. Marina had a heart of gold and would help anyone without thinking about it twice, she leaves a great void and will be missed dearly.
She is preceded in death by her father Antonio Ramirez, paternal and maternal grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins from both parents’ sides. She is survived by her mother Lorenza Ramirez, her brother Antonio Ramirez, two sisters Griselda Ramirez and Rosa Ramirez and her beloved nephews: Adrian Ramirez, Jonathan Ramirez, Elijio Rojas, Jack Rojas, Antonio Zuniga, Enrique Zuniga, Christian Ordaz and her only niece Valeria Ramirez all from Hobbs.
