In Loving Memory of
Mark Denzil Easter
June 6, 1954 – October 11, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved Mark Denzil Easter, lovingly known as Papa. His life was marked by service, hard work, music, and the love he leaves behind in the hearts of his family.
Mark proudly served in the United States Navy as a corpsman, dedicating his time to caring for others and serving his country. Beyond his military service, he was a hardworking man who spent many years in drywall and construction, using his skills and determination to build and create. He also had a love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar, expressing himself through the melodies he played.
Mark was a man whose life was shaped by the work of his hands, the experiences he gathered along the way, and the family that will forever carry his memory. He leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured by words alone. The memories he created, the stories he shared, and the love he gave will continue to live on through the generations of his family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Bonnie Jane; his father, Olen Easter; his sister, Debbie Baker; his daughter, Bonnie Elaine; his son, Ted Easter; and his grandson, Jason Easter. Though their loss has left lasting heartache, we find comfort in the thought of Mark being reunited with those who went before him.
Mark leaves behind his loving brother, Bobby Easter, and sister, Janice Terry; his sons, Mark Easter, William Easter, and Clayton Easter; and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to honor his memory and carry his legacy forward.
Though saying goodbye is never easy, the love we have for Mark will never fade. He will be remembered for his service, his craftsmanship, his music, and the place he will always hold in the hearts of those who loved him.
His hands may be still, but the things he built, the music he played, and the memories he left behind will live on forever.
Rest peacefully, Papa. You are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and never forgotten.
