Marlena Kaye Summers

Marlena Kaye Summers was born on September 23, 1948. She entered heavens gates on November 30, 2024. Kaye had an artistic spirit, she loved crocheting, painting cooking, which resulted in many awards at the rodeo. She had an open-door policy for everyone, when you came in you got one of her hugs. She offered a motherly space that will be missed by many. She loved JoJo at Classy nails.

Marlena is survived by her lifelong best friend Yvonne Hardaway, her Love Edgar “Sunny” Summers, her children, Kelly Brooker, Missy Daniel, Clifton Brooker, Crystal and Mathew Atencio, Jennifer Fox, her grandchildren KJ and Darrell Brooker, Ashley and Chris King, Sonny Atencio, Hayden Hazen, Anna Hazen, Mina Hazen, great grandchildren William Mitchell, Vincent King, Siblings Chuck and Bettye Lankford, Dennis Lankford, Theresa Little, Linda and Larry Lee, her nieces and nephews Cheyenne and Justin Bilbo, Desiree, Christopher, Tapanga, Kiara, Delland, Dustin, and her great niece and nephew Case and Everley. 

Marlena is proceeded in death by her parents Delmar and Flora Lankford, her husband William John Chism and her nephew Samuel Loy Tramell. 

The family will hold a private Memorial service in her honor.
