Melva Medrano

Melva J. Medrano, 49, passed away on January 20, 2019 in Lubbock Texas. She was born to Francisco Medrano and Perfecta Jasso on November 01, 1969 in Ojinaga, Mexico. Melva was very dedicated to her family. She loved to sew, cook and was a wonderful wife and mother. Melva is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Martin Medrano.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 34 years, Fidel White, Sr., sons Fidel White, Jr. and Adam G. White, two daughters: Vanessa and Valerie White, as well as Pablo G. Ortega, James G. Ortega and Judy Medrano whom she helped raise. Also survived by her siblings, Juan, Bobby, Lila, Alicia, Eli, Lorena, David, Servando and Norma Medrano as well as a host of other family members. Melva will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held from 3:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 9:00AM-8:00PM, Thursday, January 24, 2018 with a Rosary at 6:00PM. Funeral Service will be at 1:00PM, Friday, January 25, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. All services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
