Monica Soto

Monica J. Soto, 31, of Hobbs, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 in Roswell, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Ruben Ramos, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Monday the 6th at Griffin Funeral Home.

Monica was born on October 1, 1982 in Denver City, TX to Andres and Rosa Soto. She loved barbequing with her family and friends but her true love was being with her family. Monica was preceded in death by her grandfather, Federico Soto and brother, Dominque Soto.

Survivors include her parents, Andres and Rosa Soto of Hobbs daughters, Bernice Quinonez, Makayla Quinonez and Mariah Quinonez all of Hobbs brothers, Andres Soto, Jr. of Hobbs sisters, Sandra Rojas and husband, Anthony of North Carolina and Karisma Soto of Hobbs grandmothers, Maria Garza of Hobbs and Consuelo Orona of Eunice stepgrandfather, Genaro Villa of Mexico and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
