Pat Lindersmith

Pat BurtonLindersmith of Hobbs, New Mexico died peacefully June 7th 2014 in Midland, TX surrounded by her family. Pat was born to Robert and Tennie Milligan, April 26, 1939 in Pauls Valley, OK. Pat married William Burton in 1955, and they began their lives together in Hobbs, where they raised their son Tony. Pat and Bill had many wonderful years of marriage until his death on November 11th 1991. Pat married Curt Lindersmith on February 14, 2000 and they were married until his death on February 7, 2005.
Pat worked actively as a realtor for 50th years and recently retired in 2013 after receiving numerous awards for outstanding performance. Her last job working was with Donnie Roberts Realty. Pat and her husband Bill were avid fishermen. They also enjoy many years of fun entertaining friends and relatives at their lake home at Lake Amistad.
Pat was a very active person, enjoying bowling, traveling, camping and fishing with Bill. Pat was an excellent bowler and competed in several nationwide tournaments.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Bill Burton, Curt Lindersmith and her sister Ann Milligan. Pat is survived by her son Tony Burton, Daina Painter, grand children, Jason Burton, Daniel Burton, Charlie Painter, Elizabeth Traylor and Husband Dustin and great grandson Hunter. Also survived by her brothers, Robert and wife Ana, Charles and wife Sharon all of Oklahoma City also Raymond Milligan, brotherinlaw of Stratford, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Pat was known for being a very kind, sweet and fun and loving person. Pat was dearly loved and will be missed by her family and numerous friends.
Her funeral will be held at Griffin Funeral home Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
