Petra Jaramillo

Petra Jaramillo, born July 11, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas passed away surrounded by family on May 13, 2019. She was a homemaker, enjoying all of life's moments and making great memories with all of her family and grandchildren. Petra was an amazing mother of 15 children, a devoted grandmother to 54 beautiful and unique grandchildren and great grandmother to 105 great-grandchildren, she was also lucky enough to have 11 great-great grandchildren. Her family legacy will live on through the family she created. Petra is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Jaramillo, son Jesse and grandson Joe Joe Jaramillo as well as her four sisters and brother. Left to honor her memory are her children; Sara Mendoza, Adelaida Avila, Esmerelda, Ramond, Pete, Johnny, Jimmy, Ruben, Joe, Ricky, Victor, Francisco, Felipe, Trinadad Jaramillo and one brother, as well as her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Petra Jaramillo will be held Friday May 17, 2019 at The Door Church at 11:00am, with burial to follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday at Griffin Funeral Home from 9:00am-8pm. Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
