Porrfiria Morales

Porrfiria Morales, 78, of Hobbs, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 21, 2014. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Morales, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11: 00 AM 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Morales was born on September 15, 1935 in Promontorio, Mexico to Jose and Teresa Najera. She married Melquiadez Morales and they celebrated over 50 years of wonderful marriage until his death on November 25, 2013. She loved gardening and was an animal lover. Porrfiria was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Angie Munoz and Rosa Holguin sons, Andy Morales, Joel Morales and Alex Morales 2 brothers 2 sisters 19 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
