Ramiro Acosta

Ramiro Acosta Sr. was called to his eternal resting place on November 17, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas. He entered this world on August 24, 1948, in Del Rio, Texas to Isaac and Andrea Acosta. Ramiro was married to his love Estela Arredondo Acosta for 53 years. They had one son Ramiro Acosta Jr.

Ramiro loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting in the mountains, camping, and fishing, especially at Lake Amistad.  Ramiro enjoyed Competition BBQ’s and won many events.  He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. Just sitting, talking, and joking with them.

Ramiro is survived by his wife Estela, son Ramiro Jr. (Melissa), grandchildren Meghan (Victor) Murillo, Michael, and Matthew Acosta.

Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Mike, Arturo, and Robert Acosta.
