Ramon Valles

Ramon Valles was called to be with our Lord on the morning of December 9, 2014. He was blessed to be surrounded by his family at the time he gave his last breath. He will be greatly missed and remembered with the deepest feeling and respect. Ramon was a devoted husband and father, a loving brother and loyal friend.

Ramon was born in Hobbs on February 4, 1978 to Erasmo Valles and Irma Candelaria Valles. He is one of four children born in the loving family. He graduated Hobbs High School in 1996. On August 3, 2002, he married Josey Munoz Marin and was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Amaris Grace Valles and Isabella Faith Valles.

Ramon worked for Schlumberger for approximately nine years where he touched many hearts and befriended many of his coworkers. He was an oldfashioned yet modern day cowboy and an avid Harley Davidson rider. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Irma Valles.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Josey and his beautiful daughters, his father, Erasmo Valles as well as his two sisters, Irma Romero of Hobbs, Sylvia Torres of Kyle, Texas and brother, Erasmo Valles, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas as well as his best friend Juaquin Castillo and the many members of the Marin family.

A rosary will be recited at 4:00 PM, Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, December 12, 2014 at Christian Center Church with Pastor Jotty Kinney and Pastor Jesus Marin, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
