Rita Wales

Rita Tucker Wales, 68, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Midland, TX. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel with Pastor David Downs, officiating.

Rita was born on September 28, 1945 in Colorado City, Texas to Joe and Grace Tucker who preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Hart Fuentes and husband, Carlos of Hobbs and Michelle Hart Pilcher of Andrews, Texas brother, Freddie Tucker of Hico, TX grandchildren Raquel Fuentes Montanez, her husband AJ Daniel Fuentes Kendyll Pilcher and his wife, Tara and Kellie Pilcher and great grandchildren, Mia Grace Montanez and Brinley Cheyanne Pilcher.

Rita was very active in her church and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rita enjoyed a very special friendship with Jim Bob Elliot and made and enjoyed many friends as a beautician in Hobbs for over 20 years.
