Robert Patterson

Robert Pat Patterson, 63, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Lubbock, TX. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:008:00 pm, Wednesday the 23rd at Griffin Funeral Home.

Mr. Patterson was born on February 21, 1950. He served his country in the United States Navy as a part of the Underwater Demolition Team. Pat lived all over the world but settled in Hobbs where he opened a machine shop. He was always working on cars which led to becoming a master technician on Toyota vehicles. Pat worked as an automotive technician for over 15 years at Permian Ford. Uncle Pat loved being with his adopted family, the Normans. They would go boating and kayaking together and work on hotrods. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Whitaker.

Survivors include Craig and Lisa Norman, Larry Norman, Amber Norman Huerta and her husband, Andy and Matthew Huerta.
