It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rodney Warren Chanley. Rodney was our Papa he was a man who filled our lives with laughter, love, and unwavering faith. Born on November 3, 1953, in Kermit Tx.
He was a loving husband to Mary Chanley and a father to his daughter Jamie and husband Lawrence Urtiaga, son Justin and wife Amanda Miner, son Lawrence Faulkenberry, grandchildren Lawrence II, Alexander, Antonio, Jesiah, Brianna, Annalicia, and Richard Jr., and Abby, great-grandchildren Delilah and Reigna. Brother Charles (Chuck) Chanley, wife Norma and family, brother Ty Chanley and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father Lois and Earl Chanley, son Ryan Chanley, daughter Rene Miner, son Richard Chanley Sr., grandson Bobbie Sanchez, brother Earl Chanley, sisters Toby Chanley Delk, and Linda Chanley Brice.
Papa was a name he wore proudly. Not only did he give us the value of family, but papa also showed us what it looked like to be a man of faith, he will forever be remembered for his many miracles and his contagious laugh and his little jig he always did when the good songs came on.

Hallelujah! I want to express publicly before his people my heartfelt thanks to God for his mighty miracles. All who are thankful should ponder them with me. For his miracles demonstrate his honor, majesty, and eternal goodness.
