Ronnie Manes

Ronnie Fred Manes of Hobbs passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Hone.

Mr. Manes was born on July 2, 1946 in Arkansas to Fred and Juanita Manes. He was a musician all his life, playing with the Chaparrals, Willie Nelson and many country groups. He was an allaround cowboy, enjoyed roping and horse trading. Ronnie was a loving father, brother and friend.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Manes, Jr. daughter, Lorrie Cox grandchildren, Jordan, Ryleigh and Brian sisters, Janice Rogers, Sharon Kocsis, Deborah Campbell and Crystal Shawn Thaxton and brother, Terry Don Manes.
