Rosa Hernandez Bueno

Rosa Hernandez Bueno 73 passed away February 18, 2024, at Covenant Medical Center, in Hobbs, New Mexico, with her beloved family by her side. Born January 31, 1951, to Jesusita and Gonzalo Hernandez of Artesia, New Mexico. Rosa had five brothers and two sisters. She also has three sons, Stephen, Pete Jr., and Ray Bueno. She has eight grandkids and five great grandkids.

 Rosa was a kind and loving spirit who embraced any and every person she met. Rosa was married to the love of her life for 54 years with whom she created a loving and blessed life.

 She is survived by her brothers, Robert Hernandez, and Alfredo (Mary) Hernandez, both of Hobbs, New Mexico and her sister Elodia Hernandez of Des Moines, Iowa. Her three sons Stephen (Sara) Bueno, Pete Bueno Jr., and Ray (Elizabeth) Bueno all of Hobbs, New Mexico, her eight grandkids and five great grandkids. Along with countless family, who all loved and adored her. 

She is proceeded in death by her mother and father Jesusita and Gonzalo Hernandez of Artesia, NM. As well as her husband Pete T Bueno Sr of Hobbs, NM and her brothers Johnny Hernandez of Chicago Il, Oscar Hernandez Sr of Odessa, TX, Salvador Hernandez Sr. of Hobbs, NM and sister Esperanza Garcia of Odessa, TX. 

Services will be held at Eternal Life Church located at 119 North Linam, Hobbs, New Mexico. Visitation will start at 1:00PM-5:00PM and Prayer Service at 6:00–8:00PM Friday. Her going home service will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at Eternal Life Church, graveside service to follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
