Roy Dale Roberts

Roy Dale Roberts, a beloved member of the Hobbs community, passed away on February 8, 2024. He was born on February 6, 1947, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Roy will always be remembered for his kind-hearted nature and his dedication to his loved ones. Growing up in Hobbs, Roy attended Will Rogers Elementary and completed school in Monument, NM where he formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories. Roy's devotion to his wife Lindy Ann Roberts was unwavering. Their bond was an epitome of true companionship and they created a lifetime of beautiful moments together. Roy's love for Lindy was evident in the way he always put her needs before his own. Family meant everything to Roy. He relished spending quality time with them, cherishing every laugh and creating lasting memories. In 2020, due to health concerns, Roy became an admired resident at White Sands Healthcare center. Roy's legacy will endure through the memories shared by those closest to him. He is survived by his beloved wife Lindy Ann Roberts, sister Patsy and brother-in-law Jerry Camp.

A graveside service will be held on February 12, 2024, at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, New Mexico, starting at 2:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM. The address for the cemetery is 2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240.

Roy Dale Roberts will be remembered as a kind-hearted soul whose love and compassion touched the lives of many. His enduring legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his gentle spirit rest in eternal peace.
