Sergio Astorga Cervantes

Sergio Astorga Cervantes was born on August 16, 1971, in Hobbs, New Mexico to his parents Antonio Iturralde Cervantes and Romelia Aguilar Astorga. He married Araceli Lopez Cervantes on September 22, 2025. He passed away on November 22, 2025, in Seminole, Texas.

Sergio was hardworking man who took care of the money he made. He enjoyed going on fishing trips and enjoyed the outdoors while camping with family and friends. Especially with his best friend Omar! He was always laughing and smiling. He gave cancer a hell of a fight for six years. He liked to cookout whether it was him grilling or someone else. If you knew or ever had the pleasure of meeting Sergio, you knew that he always had an opinion and his opinion was ALWAYS right.

Though he is no longer with us, Sergio will be dearly missed by his family, friends and anyone that was a part of his life. We will always remember the good times and memories and will never forget his contagious laugh and smile.

He is survived by his parents Antonio Iturralde Cervantes and Romelia Aguilar Astorga, his wife Araceli Lopez Cervantes, his three sons Jeremy Cervantes, Marcus Cervantes, Alex Galaviz, his two brothers Oscar Cervantes and Armando Cervantes.
