Sherry Prosise

Sherry Prosise, 59, of Hobbs, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 6, 2017 at Bethel Assembly of God with Pastor Benny Greenlee, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-7:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Sherry was born on March 8, 1957 in Fresno, CA to Cledus and Barbara Gandy. She married Billy Prosise on June 29, 1973 in Belton, Texas and they celebrated over 43 wonderful years of marriage. Sherry enjoyed fishing and going to the mountains. She loved planting trees. Sherry was a Godly woman and was always studying the word of God. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Prosise of the home; sons, Travis Prosise of Hobbs, Jeremiah Prosise and his wife, Angel of Hobbs, Joshua Prosise and his wife, Terri of Hobbs and Darren Prosise and his wife, Amanda of Hobbs; daughter, Felicia Prosise of Hobbs; sister, Teresa Christoph of Lampasas, TX; brothers, Lonnie Gandy and his wife, Janet of Lampasas, TX and Steve Gandy and his wife, Maggie of Lampasas, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
