Teofilo Rodriguez

Teofilo “Macana” Rodriguez entered the heavenly gates on June 8th, 2026, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Teofilo was born on January 19th, 1948, to Victor Rodriguez and Panfila Rodriguez in Raymondville, Texas.

Teofilo was a man of many enjoyments, whether it be playing softball, coaching his kids during the season, or simply watching the grandkids play their sports. Teofilo was a skilled gardener; he loved to grow tomatoes and beautiful red roses. He also loved to barbecue for his friends and family. He was an avid member of the Catholic Church, as well as a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved his family and always talked about his late wife, Olga. He supported his children and grandchildren through anything and will be missed greatly.

Teofilo is preceded in death by his wife, Olga Rodriguez; and his parents Victor and Panfila Rodriguez.

Teofilo is survived by his two sons: Jerry Rodriguez and Jimmy Rodriguez; his daughter: Becky Rodriguez; and his six grandchildren.
