Tommy Rusk

Tommy Rusk, 66, of Hobbs, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Lubbock.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday March 3, 2017 at Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Adams, officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-7:00 PM.

Tommy was born on July 31, 1950 in Loving, NM to Jack and Bessie Rusk. He married Carolyn Rice on March 19, 1976 in Hobbs and they celebrated over 40 years of wonderful marriage. He loved to fish, hunt and work with wood. Tommy loved spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn of the home; daughter, Belinda Welborn and husband, Quinton of Hobbs; son, Eric Rusk of Hobbs; daughters, Patricia Francis and Mary Oregon of Longview, TX; brothers, Doug Rusk, James Rusk, Charlie Rusk, Pat Rusk and Billy Rusk; sister, Lonia Carson; grandchildren, Shelby Rusk, Todd Welborn, Kenneth Welborn, Erin Meraz, Cody Moore, Kaila Baily and Amanda Moore; great grandchildren, Jackson Torres and Olivia McCord and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
